    The SEM / Search Marketing Manager is responsible for the engagement strategy and execution across David Yurman paid search advertising program. Responsibilities include working with internal marketing, media and digital marketing teams to ensure that channel-specific SEM strategy is collaborative with broader media objectives, while working closely with 3rd party media agency partners to seamlessly execute programs.


    The ideal candidate will be able to understand how Paid Search fits into the big-picture media and content strategy for David Yurman, and orchestrate the tactics associated with achieving that vision while maximizing our advertising’s efficiency and demonstrating the value provided (by SEM) to the Firm


    • Manage SEM team at media agency; direct team on tactical execution of program across all lines of business, inclusive of budget management, optimization, bid strategies, measurement, etc.
    • Work closely with internal media team members and counterparts across Marketing to ensure that the SEM program strategy is in line with broader KPIs and advertising/line of business objectives.
    • Collaborate across internal disciplines to create a strong linkage with Content, Social and other Channel strategies.
    • Conduct frequent competitive analysis
    • Leverage data and analytics insights as a key driver of ongoing program strategy (optimization plans, integration of audience segmenting capabilities, test and learn agendas, etc.)
    • Develop test and learn opportunities: Maximizing conversions by devising cutting edge Campaign structure, Ad Copies and conversion optimization.
    • Ensure measurement tactics are executed flawlessly with a clear and effective reporting structure
    • Look for opportunities to include new technologies and innovative tactics within the program; continuously monitor industry trends, technologies and standards for campaign learnings


    • 4-5+ years of relevant SEM experience; media agency experience strongly preferred
    • Expert knowledge of Google, Bing, other Search Engine platforms and management tools
    • Knowledge of SEO/organic search functions to drive holistic brand presence across search engines
    • Experience working with Adobe Analytics
    • Proven track record of developing & executing effective media plans & strategies
    • Excellent attention to detail, superior communication, customer service & follow-up skills
    • Strong analytical & organizational skills, detail-oriented, flexible, diplomatic, resourceful
    • Luxury brand experience a plus
    • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing or a related field
