  • Overview

    The Regional Director, Retail is responsible for maximizing customer experience and achieving sales goals through sales productivity, store profitability, superior customer service and operational excellence in a designated region. 

    Responsibilities

    Sales Goal Achievement  and Expense Control

    • Utilizing directives to develop, plan and implement a strategy to maximize achievement of sales with a focus on regional trends and preferences
    • Identify underperforming stores and develop a business plan to address and manage issues effectively
    • Manage the P&L within allocated budget to maintain profitability for the entire area
    • Oversee goals assigned to brand ambassadors including sales productivity and KPI metrics

    Communication

    • Direct, transparent, consistent and continuous communications with store management and team to ensure alignment between retail stores and corporate office. 
    • Present a thorough understanding and reporting of issues, performance results, opportunities, and challenges of the area to Corporate Leaders; provide recommendations and action plans for improvement
    • Ensure all company programs, initiatives and standards are properly executed, and goals achieved

     

    Client Experience

    • Manage customer service activities and staff competence to optimize sales performance and customer satisfaction
    • Identify trends and make suggestions to improve and enhance retail performance to deliver sales and service goals. 
    • Ensure brand environment is impeccable at all times; partner with corporate teams for repairs, maintenance and I.T.

     

    Talent Development

    • Oversee the recruitment and hiring process to populate the organization with superior management, sales and support team members
    • Ensure the full implementation of training programs for new store managers and coach and develop to ongoing performance needs
    • Plan succession in the area through the identification of individuals with potential for development and growth
    • Coach and develop skills of all direct reports
    • Deliver performance evaluations and ensure all staff receiev monthly, quarterly and annual feedback through appropriate management personnel.   

    Qualifications

    • 7+ years retail sales management experience in a similar role, with multi-store responsibility, preferably within a high-end luxury accessories boutique
    • Proven ability to manage multi-store responsibility with an emphasis on driving results
    • Proven ability to communicate Sr. Management market trends, initiatives, and competitive challenges to achieve sales goal
    • Exceptional clientele, customer relationship building skills with the ability to lead a luxury service culture across multi-store responsibility
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team.
    • Strong personal effectiveness skills-detail oriented, good listener, organized, able to manage time efficiently and follow up to ensure the achievement of personal and regional objectives.
    • Highly motivated-customer oriented, self-motivated, results oriented, goal oriented.
    • Proven ability to manage multi-store responsibility with an emphasis on driving results
    • Proven ability to communicate Sr. Management market trends, initiatives, and competitive challenges to achieve sales goal
    • Flexibility to work a retail schedule that will include travel to stores within area, evenings, weekends, and holidays
    • Located in Miami, Atlanta, or Chicago preffered
