    The Marketing & Events Manager, Wholesale position will drive and execute 360 marketing and event plans to create synergy across all marketing areas for wholesale in order to elevate the brand image, increase brand awareness and drive traffic and sales. Responsible for working cross-functionally to implement seasonal event programs across wholesale channel for all National and Independent accounts. This position will have a deep understanding of the David Yurman wholesale client and serve as the main point for contact for Wholesale National and Independent Accounts, managing cross category initiatives and programs to support this business channel.


    Marketing Responsibilities

    • Assist in creation of omni-channel marketing programs for the David Yurman wholesale business in coordination with the Director of Retail and Wholesale Marketing in an effort to elevate overall brand image and customer experience, increase brand awareness, prospect new customers, and drive traffic and sales
    • Work on product positioning to target defined wholesale customer segments
    • Collaborate with cross functional marketing team and wholesale commercial team on 360 wholesale marketing plans
    • Main point of contact for wholesale National Accounts (Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, & Bloomingdale’s) and 250+ Independent Accounts; management of co-op advertising plans, interactive programs, direct mail initiatives, and social media and digital marketing plans
    • Identify and develop branding activities designed to expand both awareness and sales; pinpoint potential brand partnerships through the deep understanding of unique consumer requirements and David Yurman product positioning
    • Ongoing monitoring, analysis, and reporting on competitive landscape within the wholesale jewelry market as well as the luxury wholesale / jewelry industry at large
    • Keep a sharp sense of cultural and social activities relevant to the DY collections, and identify methods to incorporate the collections into the larger social dialogue when appropriate
    • Work with Executive Director of Marketing and Marketing Director to support the development & management of relevant wholesale marketing budgets
    • Collaborate with marketing team to prioritize marketing investments across markets, categories and initiatives to deliver on business goals; categories and initiatives to deliver on business goals
    • Manage 12-month wholesale marketing calendar to ensure that all activities and opportunities are well-organized and successful and aligned with product deliveries
    • Partner with commercial team to cultivate local market relationships, identify/prioritize local opportunities and support individual store marketing plans; manage and foster external relationships to identify relevant marketing partners (i.e., hotel partners, local charities, mall partners, etc.)
    • Manage external co-op advertising agency
    • Oversee the development of the Marketing Assistant; monitor their performance, ensuring growth and development within the organization

    Event Responsibilities

    • Oversee the Wholesale Events Coordinator to ensure consistent product is delivered
    • In partnership with the Director of Global Events create 3-4 Seasonal Event Concepts, driven by collection or corporate initiatives, that will be executed across all National and Independent doors
    • Implement seasonal special event strategy to support marketing and sales initiatives to remain competitive, drive sales, stay top of mind with existing customers and promote outreach to key prospects across all wholesale locations
    • Oversee all event logistics and execution elements (with support from Wholesale Event Coordinator and overall oversight and project management from marketing team) for all wholesale events inclusive of markets, trainings/conclaves and tradeshows- including researching venues, organizing site arrangements, catering, invitations, models, music, décor, gifts, etc.
    • Work closely & communicate often with field sales teams on all requests & deliverables
    • Manage the inventory, shipment flow and delivery of all collateral to support wholesale events
    • Oversee and project manage all wholesale event CRF and Invitation requests to ensure timely delivery
    • Partner in the development of collateral and gifts to support events
    • Point of contact for all doors and accounts to ensure DY brand standards are met
    • Recap event sales to measure ROI value and success of event programs and key initiatives
    • Organize customized and special experiences for VIP clients outside of stores
    • Monitor budget and reconcile all event expenses for all wholesale events, markets, trainings / conclaves, and tradeshows
    • Ongoing and timely communication with both internal and external vendors and partners


    • 3-5 years’ experience in wholesale marketing, luxury retail experience on the brand side required
    • Experience managing 1-2 individuals preferred
    • Digital and social media competency
    • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
    • Must have strong project management skills and excellent attention to detail
    • Ability to easily collaborate in a flexible and creative manner required. Must be a strong team player
